Craigmillar Castle (Ardsmuir Prison) - experience Jamie’s environment while he was held in Ardsmuir Prison
Glencourse Kirk (Wedding Chapel) - stand where Jamie and Claire were reluctantly wed
Culross (Cranesmuir) - view the setting for Crainsmuir where Claire and Jamie rescued the wee lad whose ear was nailed to the pillary
Aberdour Castle (Abbey St. Anne) - walk through the abbey halls where Claire healed Jamie from his horrific Wentworth wounds
Falkland (1940s Inverness) - re-enact the scene where Jamie’s ghost watches Claire from the window.
Glencoe (opening credits) - explore the majesty of the Glencoe mountains, glens, and waterfalls depicted in Outlander’s opening credits
Devil’s Pulpit Rock (Liar’s Spring) - touch the waters of the spring where Dougal tested Claire’s honesty.
Falkirk Callendar House (Bellhurst Manor) - take a tour of the 14th century home where Murtagh finally got revenge on the Duke of Sandringham.
Linlithgow Palace (Wentworth Prison) - understand where Jamie was imprisoned in Wentworth
Doune Castle (Castle Leoch) - stroll through the kitchen and great hall of Castle Leoch, where Colum MacKenzie ruled the clan
Blackness Castle (Fort William) - visit the site where Black Jack Randall held Claire hostage
Midhope Castle (Lallybroch) - stand on the steps of Lallybroch looking for Jamie and Claire’s return to their family home
You’ll learn all about the true Scottish history of these sites, as well as experience the Outlander Series connections. Who knows … you may even have the opportunity to don a great kilt just like Jamie’s!
